If training is deemed necessary it is done prior to the dog's placement into its permanent home. Our foster dogs are behaviorally and physically assessed by our experienced volunteers. Love of the Boxer breed is what keeps our volunteers going! is a small, but growing, group rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing Boxers throughout the State of Ohio.īBR is comprised of several volunteers working out of their homes. Phone calls will not be returned without an application having been filled out, however, questions via email are always welcome and answered!īuckeye Boxer Rescue, Inc. If your application is complete, you can expect to hear from a volunteer within 48 hours. If we delete your application due to incompleteness you will not be notified. The application must be filled out in its entirety. An adoption fee of $250 will be collected in most cases (there is always a fee, it may be lowered or raised dependant upon special circumstances) When both the adopter and volunteer agree that the placement is a good one, an adoption contract will be completed and signed.ħ. A meeting of the foster Boxer and potential adopter will take place.Ħ. A home visit will be scheduled and completed.ĥ. If approved, your vet references will be checked.Ĥ.
